“Years from now, I want you to feel something, not just see something.”

“The way I photograph your wedding was shaped long before your wedding day.”

When you choose a wedding photographer, you're choosing far more than someone with a camera.

You're choosing a lifetime of experiences, observations and lessons that shape the way someone sees your day.

Every person who's invited me into their life. Every quiet moment I've learned to notice. Every lesson life has taught me about what really matters.

That's what I carry with me into every wedding I photograph.

My background is in documentary photography, but long before I photographed weddings I was photographing people. Strangers. Families. Communities. Long-term projects that unfolded over months and years. Work that couldn't be directed, only observed.

Those experiences taught me patience. They taught me to read a room, to recognise the moments unfolding just beneath the surface, and to understand that the most meaningful photographs are rarely the loudest ones.

Weddings are no different.

They're a collection of fleeting moments woven together into a single day.

The nerves before the ceremony. A father's glance across the room. The relief after the vows.

Children playing beneath tables while everyone else is celebrating.

The quiet moments that often become the ones you treasure most.

I don't manufacture those moments.

I notice them. I don't interrupt them. I protect them.

That means you don't spend your wedding performing for the camera.

You spend it being fully present with the people you love.

While you're living your day, I'm quietly watching for the moments you'll one day wish you could relive.

Over the years I've published books, exhibited documentary projects and photographed people in circumstances that demanded empathy, patience and trust. I don't leave those experiences behind when I photograph a wedding.

They're the very reason I photograph weddings the way I do.

Because the way I photograph your wedding was shaped long before your wedding day.

If you're looking for photographs that feel honest, deeply human and timeless, not because they follow trends, but because they tell the truth, I would be honoured to tell your story.
